CONGRESS AWARDS

Sustainable organizations seek to better themselves through a host of new initiatives and performance improvements. The CWRT Congress encourages round tables to expand their operations in marketing and organizational innovation. For those round tables that were nearing extinction, we recognized them with the Phoenix award.

This year, we are providing fillable PDF submission forms for each award. NOTE: Submission forms are unique to each award. Be sure to pair awards with the appropriate submission form.

AWARD FAQs

Can a CWRT nominate itself for a CWRT Congress Award?
Yes. CWRTs can nominate themselves for an award. Other CWRTs can also nominate them.
Is it mandatory that nominations be made on the submission forms above?
Yes! Failure to use the appropriate submission form will disqualify that nomination.
When will the presentation be made?
The CWRT Congress will make the presentation at the upcoming conference and possibly at the recipient CWRT at a stated meeting.
Will the winning CWRT be required to attend the conference to receive the award?
We certainly would like recipient CWRTs to attend to receive the award in person. But, it is not required.
Is the Phoenix Award ONLY for CWRTs that were previously organized?
Yes. This award is for those CWRTs that have risen from the ashes.
Will my CWRT be notified prior to the conference if our round table is chosen?
Most definitely! The CWRT Congress selection committee will meet in June and make its decisions. That should provide you and your CWRT plenty time to make decision about attending the conference.
Will a CWRT need to meet all of the criteria to apply or be nominated?
The CWRT Congress selection committee encourages every eligible CWRT to forward a nomination. However, those that do not meet the minimum qualifications will likely have a reduced chance of selection.
If a CWRT is not currently a 501(c)3, but has submitted the application, is it still eligible for the Innovation Award?
If the application has been submitted, the CWRT is eligible. Simply state that fact and enter the date the application was submitted to the IRS.
