PROVEN PRACTICES

Policy development and implementation are constantly challenged as CWRTs undergo changes. Those changes include different volunteers with differing experiences and expectations, a treasury that may or may not meet the current needs of the program and changes in societal norms as to what is currently acceptable. Inasmuch as many CWRTs rely on a small cadre of individuals to keep their organizations afloat, when key people exit the stage, gaps in performance become emphasized.

This page is dedicated to those CWRTs that wish to improve their policy performance in a variety of areas. We hope that the insights provided by other CWRTs and the Civil War community at-large will assist in the process of redefinition, refinement and reexamination.
